Hi to all!  I am a homescooling mom to one son who is six.  We live in Texas but we are going to be visiting Albuquerque for about six weeks.  I would love to try and connect with a homeschooling group to continue what we do at home.  I also would love to take advantage of everything that Albuquerque has to offer.  Even though I know it can't be accomplished in this short amount of time.  We will actually be staying out by Bernalillo, so any of you that are out that way, I would love to know what you are doing.  I would also like to know about what all of those in Alb. are doing.  We would love to join in on any fun, since we will be missing so many of our own activities in TX.  Thanks for sharing with us.

!Bienvenidos! (Welcome!)

What are the dates you'll be here?  Our state fair is coming up quickly in Abq, and there are several activities around that.

From where in Texas are y'all coming?  My husband and I are from Texas, too, and have lived in several areas of the state and still visit at least once a year--the grandparents all live there.  Hope to meet you and your son on Thursday!

We will be in Placitas from 10 Sep-15 Oct.  We are coming to help take care of my father who is having open heart surgery.  We live in Wichita Falls TX and have been there for four years.  I am soooo ready for a change.   I responded to whoever, I am sorry I forgot who, is putting the fair day together that we would love to join in that on the 12th.  We will also be attending the Balloon Fiesta.  I have been looking at trying to go to Explora, Museum of Natural History, Bandelier National Monument, and maybe the zoo.  So if anybody is doing any of those we would love to join you and if not but would like to join us then let us know.  I am sure that we will attend a park day and it appears that the one off of Wyoming might me the closest, but we may try both.    While I did live in Abq for a little while and my family has been there off and on my whole life I still get a little lost and confused.  Thanks for everything so far....would love to know more about your group and what all you do.  We visit Abq about twice a year and would love to keep in touch.

Hey Marcie-I'm sorry we won't be at the west side park day today if you were planning to go. I was trying to find your parents phone # with no luck. Greyson came down with a bad viral infection. So we are stuck at home for now. But we will definitely have to get together soon-especially when Jenny is in town. Let's also try and plan for all the kids! Talk to you soon, Amity
