A friend of mine has boxes and boxes of used text books, workbooks and manuals that she is trying to find homes for.  They are otherwise going to recycling bins.  The books cover a variety of subjects and grade/age levels.  There are even library books in the mix.  I personally have taken some books just so that I can cut pictures out of them to use as additions to our own curriculum.  (I know, I know...cutting out of books.  These books are destined to be trash so if any use can be gotten out of them, it is better than nothing at all.)

The books are out on the driveway and you can go around at any time and take whichever books you would like:

Hi! I didn't see this until now. If your friend still has the books I know an Eagle Scout who is collecting books for a new school library. My # is 404 1938.

Hi Kara, there certainly are still lots of books and there will be even more after Monday.  Please feel free to invite your Eagle Scout to collect as many as he can use.
