So, my girls need a new hat and gloves.
It's not even Halloween yet, and they are out at the stores.
However, they want $6 a piece, which makes it $24 for both my kids, and that's a lot of money.
My girls are 5 and 6, but I'd like something they could grow into.
One likes pink, and the other likes blue.

hey amber let me see what I have here........ I usually stock up on those $1 store gloves cause my kids lose them like crazy this one by me near KFC had some childs sizes I won't be at park tomorrow the boys have an appointment at 1:30, but I will see you wednesday.......

I can make the girls some hats tonight and ill take them for them tomorrow at park. If you all aren't there and you want to come by that would work too. Hope you guys are doing great!

We just bought a bunch of hats, scarves and gloves at the dollar store at Tramway and Central. They have tons of different colors, too.
I usually hand knit our hats and scarves, but end up buying a bunch, too, because the kids end up losing them, snagging them or the dogs gets them. lol.

But for a only a dollar for those items, we can buy the kids at least 2 extra pairs each. Pretty good deal.

I didn't think about the dollar store.  Are there hats and gloves good enough to make it an entire season?

if you want more ski type gloves I saw some at other mothers when I was dropping off some stuff the other day.....I have been able to get chenille in the past from the dollar store as well they are thicker and last longer than the cotton..... but mine usually lose a glove before the season is over Hehehehehehe I usually leave a basket in my car with jackets hats and gloves.......cause you never know
