Age Range: 8-11 (This site also offers educational games for ages 4-11
[grades PreK-6 approximately] and older children may enjoy them as well.)

Crickweb offers FREE educational math games that will help your students
practice and hone math skills. I've featured JUST the interactive math games
for students 8-11 years old in this review, but the site offers math games
for students in grades PreK-6.

When you get to the site you'll see a menu of the math games where kids can:

*explore algebraic equations

*practice angle estimation skills

*sort polygons

*use different divisors to find a target quotient

*take multiplication and algebra quizzes

*use a Venn diagram simulation

...and much, much more!

Click on the topic of interest and a new page opens to the game. All of the
games I tried were engaging, colorful, and user-friendly.

Note: Because this is a site produced in the United Kingdom, the money game
deals with British currency. Weights and measurements are metric.

Crickweb is produced by a commercial company called V2V Training Ltd. They
provide Crickweb as a way to demonstrate their skills in multimedia
solutions for schools (and as a way to give back to the community).

When you are through exploring the math games use the menu at the top of the
screen to explore over 150 interactives that cover a variety of subjects
including language arts, science, geography, history, French, Spanish,
religious education, and design and technology.

Some of these games and the topics they cover are really innovative.
Bookmark this site so you can return often to explore what is available and
to check out new resources and activities as they are loaded to the site.
