BookHive, Your Guide to Children's Literature and Books

BookHive was developed by the library of Charlotte and Mecklenberg
County, North Carolina, for the purpose of categorizing and suggesting
children's books. If you're looking for a particular subject, the
'Find A Book' section has the reviews grouped into various categories
such as Adventure, Classics all the way through Scary literature. As
well as Parental Notes, the researcher is able to read reviews from
other children and even add his/her own comments. The site has an
audio library available to 'Zinger Tales,' a real help on those
laryngitis days. Additionally, the 'Fun Activities' contain a wealth
of resources, from trivia quizzes to booklists and even book plates
for personalizing your and your youngsters own libraries. Don't
forget to bookmark BookHive; it's a great antidote for the cabin fever
that everyone gets on rainy days!
