Here is some information about violin lessons that are being offered.  One of our homeschool moms knows Valerie and can recommend her.  If you are interested in taking lessons, please contact Valerie at the phone number listed below.

This is to announce that violinist Valerie Turner-Figueroa is now accepting private violin students.  Prior to coming to New Mexico, she taught both privately and in schools for over twenty years, as well as performing with many orchestras in the NY area.  Here in New Mexico, she performs regularly in the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, the Santa Fe Symphony and the Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra in Durango Colorado.  Along with husband Guillermo Figueroa, (Music Director of the NMSO) she is the founder and Co-Artistic Director of the chamber music series Festival de Musica Rondena.

Her availability is 8:30 to 4:00, Monday through Friday, but flexible for other times, if necessary.
