All Noise! 2009 applications are due on April 1, 2009.





Are you ready to make some Noise!? Noise! takes music education to the next level by giving high school students an innovative and unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience inside the music industry.
Noise! 2009 will be held in Nashville, TN from July 12-24, 2009. Any high school student between the ages of 15-17 years is welcome to apply.
Students accepted for Noise! receive scholarships provided through funding from the Muzak Heart & Soul Foundation.  Only 32 students are selected to attend each Noise! camp.  Scholarships include all Noise!
curriculum, field trips, meals and lodging. Transportation to and from camp is the responsibility of the participant. Students will stay at Vanderbilt University and have meetings with heavy hitters from the Nashville music industry- songwriters, recording studios, record labels, radio stations and more. Applications for students and counselors are available at: http://heart.muzak.com/what/noise.aspx. All applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2009.



TELL your High School Students:

The Noise! promotional poster has been mailed to 14,000 high schools and performing arts schools across the country.  If you know of students
(15-17 years old) who have a passion for all types of music, a drive to succeed and a curiosity to learn about a variety of careers in the music industry share the attached info sheet about Noise! 2009!. You can also share one of the videos from our website with your classes, student groups, parents or individuals. Students should visit our website:

Teachers, Business Leaders, Adults...Become a COUNSELOR:
Noise! Counselors are responsible for supervising the students, facilitating research and development of their career plan projects and being able to interact and connect with the students.  Counselors are required to be at camp for the duration plus 3 extra days for training and wrap-up (July 10-25). Individuals selected will receive a $500 stipend.  Transportation, room and board will be covered by the Muzak Heart & Soul Foundation. You can find out more information and the
