Yup!  In OUR Lifetimes!!

Spaceport America may well be the future of commercial space flight in this country, and the ground-breaking ceremonies will be held just outside Truth or Consequences, NM, this coming Friday, June 19th!  Yup-The nation's next spaceport is right here in our own backyards.

The spaceport has been launching unmanned spacecraft for months now, but the official ceremonies and groundbreaking for the main buildings is this coming Friday.  It's about a 2.5 hour drive south of the Albuquerque area, but if your kids are into space, science, or flight, they'll be able to tell their kids they were there from Day 1.

For more information, go ahead and google your hearts out or start at:

For those who are attending, I'll see you there!! We're leaving at 6-ish, tho Lynne's riding with her CAP squadron and I'm driving my own car. We're staying overnight at the Hot Springs Inn (thehotspringsinn.com) after staying that day at the spaceport and spending the next day playing somewhere on the lake. If that schedule works out for anyone else, I'm also happy to carpool!

Event of a lifetime. See you there!
