Good morning!  My name is Lynnie and I just joined this forum trying to learn all the different things there are to do around Albuquerque for homeschoolers.  Gratefully, there's a lot that this city offers!!  I hope to get to know all of you better...currently I'm homeschooling 3 of my 4 children (youngest too young yet).  We'll be starting 2nd grade and kindergarten in about a week and very excited to get back into school.  We're trying a 9 week on, 2 week off schedule this year.  Have a great day!

Welcome Lynnie! Are you new to the area? It looks like we have kids in the same age range. Mine are 6 (Max going on 1st grade), almost 4 (Jessamine, she's kind of advanced so we're starting her on Kindergarten this year), and almost 1(Odessa). There is definitely a lot to do around here, even during the summer. What part of the city do you live in? We're on the far eastern edge.

Hi there!  Thanks for the warm welcome.  I live way over here on the westside, about 2 minutes away from Rio Rancho.  Not new to the area, just suddenly wanting to connect to a larger homeschool community and meet the wonderful homeschooling moms in Albuquerque.  We're starting our 3rd year of homeschooling and are very exited!!!  Have a great day!

Just to nod a welcome! I think there are a fair number of west-siders although I don't know many of them. If you do go to a park day or activity and decide to join the coop then there are a number of activities being scheduled ongoing in the members only section. I still don't know everyone but there are a lot of nice families!
