I can tell you more about it than anyone else, because it's my site.
But I'll try to be factual and not biased.
We (my webmaster, many of our hundreds of subscribers and I) believe that the information in our online searchable database is the most complete, accurate and up-to-date available anywhere online.
Our database currently includes nearly 6,400 locations in the USA and Canada.
I'll surpass 6,400 when I upload the next batch of new and updated database records on Saturday morning.
Each listing includes the name, address, phone number and ZIP Code (Postal code in Canada), GPS Coordinates in three formats, driving directions, Comments about the location, and the date the most recent information was collected.
We don't accept the driving directions or coordinates from other online sources -- I verify these personally for every location.
There are many other sites that claim to provide some of the information that we provide, but some of these haven't been updated for several years. There's one popular list of "Walmarts that allow Overnight RV Parking" that hasn't been touched since 2002.
I spend many hours each week reviewing and processing reports sent to us by our subscribers (who receive additional time added to their subscriptions for their reports), verifying the accuracy of all the details. I add new locations and update existing database records at the rate of more than 100 per week.
Our listing includes many Walmart and Sam's Club locations, but not all of them -- we don't tell you "YES" or "NO" for Overnight RV Parking until an RVer reports on the location, or I telephone the store myself to determine their policy. The majority of our listings are places other than Walmarts, including other retail stores, city and county parks, federal lands, rest areas, etc. etc. etc.
Many of our subscribers tell us that they save more than the cost of their annual subscription ($17.95) in one night, the first time they use one of our listed locations instead of paying for an RV Park space -- and paying for a lot of RV Park amenities that they're not going to use.
I really believe that any RVer who is on the road regularly can save a lot of money by utilizing the information in our database.
