My name is Leslie F. I am the mom of Tony ( and Leslie (5), and we just start homeschooling a week ago. We are very excited to meet new friends, and learn everything about homeschooling.
Is anyone else using Time 4 learning as part of your curriculum? My kids seem very happy using it, but I would like to have more information about it.
Hi Leslie, my name is Brandi and my son is 10 and my daugher is 8. We just started homeschooling this year. We do use time 4 learning, and I actually like it so far. I wanted a program that would give us structure, keep records and the kids enjoyed, and it seems to be working so far. Mine are a lot older than yours, but I do add extra curriculum to our day like spanish, art, more writing, typing etc. If you haven't read the parent forum yet consider taking a look, it's pretty informative! Good luck!
Congratulations on starting a new adventure! You are always welcome at the park days held on Thursdays starting at 10AM at Loma Del Norte Park. I plan to go today, and there are some nice families that regularly attend.
I haven't used Time4Learning, but heard about it
Take care,

We've been homeschooling for 5 years, our girls are 6,7 and 9. We travel ALOT, i mean like half of the month we are on the road "hotel-schooling". Anyway, towards the end of last year I felt like we were WAAAAAAAAAAAAY behind in Math, so I started searching for a solution. Someone on this forum mentioned time for learning and we tried it and it was an awesome way to quickly catch up on all of the concepts we had missed out on. We put our regular curriculum aside and since it was the summer just did time for learning (I told the girls they only had to do math in the summer but they loved it so much they would do all of the subjects almost every time they went on). It turned out to be just the thing we needed for the summer, alot of weight was lifted off of my shoulders and the girls had fun and still learned alot. They even liked and asked for me to print out the resource pages. Oh, and when we were ready to have our last month or so of summer with no school at all, the ppl at time for learning put our subscription on hold for us, I just had to make a quick call. Hope this helped.
BTW...for our regular school year we use My Father's World and Sonlight and Singapore Math but I will use timeforlearning i'm sure here and there and almost definitely in the summer.
Welcome, so glad you're homeschooling. We love our life this way, I think homeschooling is a real gift from GOD!!

Thank you for your comments, Today we met really nice people at the park; I think this helps a lot to share information and tips with other parents who are doing home school. My kids really enjoy playing with other peers and they are looking forward to the next Thursday. Leslie F.
