Hi, Wecome! Before you buy a bunch of curricula your son, figure out where he is in the subjects you will be teaching, and also how he likes to learn. I made the mistake last year (our first year) of buying stuff that was too advanced, too easy, and just plain wrong (I know now that my son hates workbooks, but loves to read real books instead.) I have used/use the library, time4learning.com, stupid workbooks, Sonlight Core 3, Math-U-See, several subjects from The Institute for Excellence in Writing, various Usborne and DK books, Handwriting Without Tears, NOEO science, field trips, etc. Whatever my son liked, yours may not. Google some of the above to see if they appeal to you. Also, cathyduffyreviews.com. reviews curricula. Not everyone agrees with all of her reviews, but is a good place to see what is out there, which is a lot.
