Q:  Is "nattokinase" safe for adults?
I have a fibroid . . . do you think it will help me?

A:  Nattokinase is an enzyme which comes from fermented soybeans and has been shown to have a high fibrinolytic activity (breaks down fibrin). Excess fibrin has been shown to contribute to cardiovascular issues, high blood pressure, poor circulation and slow tissue repair. Used appropriately and according to directions nattokinase is very safe to consume. Below in the attached document on enzymes there is a paragraph that discusses using nattokinase for uterine fibroids so it may be worth trying. The book Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Phyllis Balch, CNC says that the term fibroid may be misleading because the cells or not fibrous but abnormal muscle cells… ? Enzymes will still help with inflammation and tissue repair.
