Hi, Kim!

We can't take him, but I did want to mention that one of the co-op members is a dog trainer.  She has helped me with my 110+ lb not quite one year old puppy.  He's really strong, too, but I can do leash walking with him now that I've had some training   Maybe Joy could help you?

Oh, I also wanted to tell you about bike leashes...Fabulous invention!  Harvey needs tons of daily exercise, and a walk around the block or a day in the back yard just won't cut it.  We invested in a $30 Walky Dog bike leash, which allows us to safely run him on our bike, and he's one happy, tired doggie.

Dannie,

Thanks for your input, I do appreciate it. Unfortunately, we prematurely picked out a new companion, to see if that would help, and she turned out to be not so good for Atlas and my cocker spaniel, Lady, and caused the cocker's death. We are heartbroken and hope that Atlas was not involved. Too painful a reminder right now, as Lady was with us 12 years. So, I really do think he has to go. We will stick to our cat and bunny for a while.

Kim
