Hello everyone. My name is Rob Martz and I am a local artist and art instructor. I am excited to be offering the following classes for homeschool students. I hope that you will join us for one or more of these classes!
Art classes offered: Tuesdays (April13,20,27, May 4, 11 1 @ 10 a.m.: Comic Book Making @ 12:30 p.m.: Comic Book Making
Thursdays (April 15,22,29, May 6,13,20) @ 10 a.m. Water Color Painting @ 12:30 p.m. Oil-based Clay Sculpture.
Each class Section will meet an hour a week, for six weeks. All Sections are capped at a maximum enrollment of 6 students. The cost per 6 week section is $30.00. Please make checks payable to Rob Martz. Payment will be collected at the beginning of the first class. ARTIST BIO: Rob Martz holds a B.A. in Art from Xavier University and a M.F.A. in Studio Art from Michigan State University. Rob has taught art to individuals of various abilities from preschool through college. Rob was an Outreach Artist with VSA arts of New Mexico where he conducted art workshops at community centers, nursing homes, preschools and after school programs. He has also been a full time Visiting Lecturer with the University of New Mexico’s Department of Art and Art History. Rob is currently an Instructor of Art at Central New Mexico Community College.
