Hello Sunshine Generation Families,

I hope you are all enjoying the rest of your summer and getting ready for school!  I have enjoyed summer, and I'm ready to move on to the fall adventures!

We are getting ready to start our Sunshine Generation Fall program Sept. 8th, the Wed. after Labor Day!  I hope all your children are ready to start up again.  I've missed them.  I would love to have them all back.  Classes will fill quickly, so I wanted to give all the summer kids that performed at camp an opportunity to sign up first for the fall classes. (Classes will be held on Wednesdays, and possibly Tuesdays depending on enrollment; see attatchment for class times)

Sunshine Generation has been invited by the city of Albuquerque to perform at family night in Old Town at the Gazebo, Wed., Sept. 15th around 6:30 ish.  I would love to give the kids from summer camp an opportunity to perform again and help build their confidence and get them "pumped" for this new Sunshine Generation year.  It'd be like a  "reunion performance", consisiting of kids from 1st session and 2nd session of summer camp.  

So, if you would like to have your child participate, anyone who is registered for Sunshine Generation for fall classes will be able to participate.  We will need a one hour rehearsal at my home studio to review the summer camp songs, on Monday, Sept. 13th at 4:30 and the rehearsal will be FREE OF CHARGE...  We will have prizes for those that bring a friend.  This is a great, fun way to invite friends to come check out Sunshine Generation in a non-pressured, fun way.  All kids that would like to participate in the performance in Old Town will need to purchase a Sunshine Generation t-shirt for $10.  Please fill out form, (see attatchment) and mail in by Aug. 26th, so I am able to see who all will be participating, and have the "special parts" put together, and have t-shirts ordered.  Please write at the bottom of the registration from the size of t-shirt you want for your child.  Sizes are:  2-4; 6-8, 10-12, 12-14, and adult size.

WE WILL STILL HAVE REGULAR CLASSES ON SEPT. 15TH ......BUT IT WILL BE A "TECHNIQUE" DAY/FRIENDSHIP AND "BUILDING" DAY...SO THEY WON'T BE BURNED OUT FOR THE PERFORMANCE THAT NIGHT.  (We spend the first few weeks of Sunshine Generation learning to work together and trusting each other through music games and cooperation so they fill "safe" performing together throughout the year.)
