Bernalillo County 4-H Fair and Rodeo

Fair time is here! All of the youth have been working very hard to get their animals and indoor projects ready for the fair. I am including a schedule of events with times and everything. I hope you can all make it out to support everyone in their projects and endeavors. This year we have changed some things up to make the fair even more fun.

WEDNESDAY (August 11th)
Animal Check in - (for those of you showing, check the fair book ...for times)
Country Western Dance - 4-H center from 8-11pm only $3 per person

THURSDAY (August 12th)
8:00am-
Dairy Show - Beef Barn
Dog Show - Youth Hall Lawn
Poultry Judging - Rabbit/Poultry Barn (showmanship to follow)

9:00-6:00 - Youth Hall Exhibits open

9:30am-
Lamb Show - Beef Barn

10:00am-
Rabbit Judging - Rabbit/Poultry Barn (showmanship to follow)

11:00am-
Goat Show - Beef Barn

1:30pm-
Steer Show - Beef Barn

Thursday Evening - Family Fun events



FRIDAY (August 13th)

Swine Show - Swine Barn

9:00-6:00 - Youth Hall Exhibits open

5:00pm-
Grand Champion Showmanship Competition - Swine Barn

7:00pm-
Rodeo - Tingley - tickets available at the door



SATURDAY (August 14th)
8:00-5:00 - Horse Show - Horse Arena
8:30am-
Small Animal Sale Buyers Breakfast - Youth Hall Auditorium

9:00am-
Small Animal Auction - Youth Hall Auditorium

9:00-2:00 - Youth Hall Exhibits open

12:00pm-
Jr. Livestock Auction - Beef Barn

7:00pm-
Rodeo - Tingley - Tickets available at door


Admission to the fair is free, tickets to the rodeo are between $3-$4 depending on age.
