Tours of Old Town does several ghost tours of the historic Old Town area, including the popular Ghost Tour of Old Town walking tour, as well as the slightly less ghoulish History, Legends and Lore tour, which focuses on Albuquerque myths and hidden architectural gems.
Saturday, October 30, 11:00am-4:00pm The 22nd annual Zoo Boo offers a safe alternative for trick-or-treating. Up to four children in costume get in free with each paying adult ($7).
From 11:00am to 4:00pm there are games, Haunted Habitats, a variety of performances, a costume parade, costume judging and sweet treats from many sponsoring businesses and civic organizations.
New Mexico BioPark Society members receive free admission for the adults and children on their pass as usual. To qualify for the offer above, an adult must purchase a ticket.

The air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and Fall Fest is right around the corner! This fantastic annual Halloween alternative offers kids of all ages a fun way to celebrate the season. Come to Calvary of Albuquerque on Sunday, October 31, from 3:00-9:00 PM for loads of fun.
Children will enjoy free carnival games and costume contests! Wristbands are available for just $5 and include soft toys and pony rides. There will also be lots of activities for teens including a pumpkin catapult, a photo booth, and a costume contest at Student Ministries' Pumpkin Palooza.
This year's excitement also includes live music from The Rounders! Cotton candy, caramel apples, and hot cocoa will be available to appease your autumn appetites. Food vendors will also be on site.

Celebrate fall and get a "free" day at Wildlife West Nature Park. Come early for free food, courtesy of JR's Barbeque, and candy for young trick or treaters, donated by Wal-Mart (while food lasts!). This new and fun day at Wildlife West will have games for kids, costume parties and prizes, up-close wildlife viewing, hay rides, and opportunity to pet the park's baby deer and newest arrival, Velcro (because she sticks to you!).
The Edgewood Friends of our Library Society will have free books for all ages. And youth can test their talent and compete in the first Edgewood Idol music contest held from 1-3 p.m. There will be three categories for ages 4-18 years. Prizes will be award by the Edgewood Leos and Lions, sponsors of the contest. Other activities, for a small fee, include a blast from the past with carnival games for children, games of chance like Bingo, and portrait photos taken by Roger Holden, a local professional photographer.
Visitors can take home a special gift by participating in the silent auction and raffle contest. All proceeds generated from these events will help to feed the animals at Wildlife West during the winter. Other donations can be made at the Park. A free day in this economy is a day not to be missed! This old fashion fall festival will be a fun time for the entire family to enjoy the outdoors and experience up-close native wildlife.
