I posted on here a while ago and I haven't been on since so I thought I may as well reintroduce myself.
HI! I'm Grace.
I'm 16 and I'm an unschooler/homeschooler.
Right now I'm currently working on getting my GED then I'm gonna go take some CNM classes.
Being on here before I remember being really disappointed that there weren't really things for teenagers going on and that its mostly moms with small kids.
No offense to the wonderful moms but I'd really like to meet and hang out with other teenagers.

Hi Grace! I have teens too that are "unschooled." I tried to get a teen group going once but it fizzled out. Maybe we can try again. My kids are 18 (boy), 16 (boy) and 14 (girl) as well as a 20 y.o girl who is still a teen at heart!

Hi Grace and Jennjor6-
I have a 14 year old daughter who is unschooled/homeschooled. I also have a 17 year old son who is homeschooled, but also works full time. We just moved to ABQ last summer, and are finally settled in enough to start thinking about meeting other homeschoolers. We'd love to get together with all of you sometime!

Grace,

I have five children and my four boys all did as you.  They tested out of HS early by taking the GED and have moved on with careers or attending the university.  There are many young adults your age doing the same thing, but you will most likely meet them at school.  Although the website is for homeschoolers, much of the activity is directly related to parents who are still educating their children.  Maybe you should join the coop and start a group for your age and ambition so that you can network and help each other along.
