According the Wildlife Rescue folks there is a myth that I think everyone should be aware of.
We were all told that if we touched a baby bird that has fallen out of it's next the parents would not have anything to do with it. This is not true.
If you find a baby bird that has fallen out of its nest, 1st look for the nest & hopefully you can find it & put it back.

If not take a container, like cottage cheese or berry (doesn't matter if it's plastic or cardboard) & hammer w/ nail, staple or connect some way to the tree as high as you can near where you found the baby bird.
Line it w/ TP or rags & put the baby inside it. The parents will find the baby. Yep it really works.
So many baby birds don't make it every year, everything we can do for them increases their survival rate is a blessing.

Tx for your assistance in saving baby birds. Please share this w/ family, friends & neighbors. Paz y amor Anne
