Hello All,
I am a 29 year old stay at home mom of two precious children. My daughter is 4, and my son is 5 months old. My husband is in the Air Force and we are stationed here, and I always love meeting new people. We are from south carolina originally (you will know this about 2 seconds after hearing me talk), and we were stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming, now we are here   Homeschooling is an idea that has felt right to me ever since I had my daughter.  I feel like as their mother is it my job to teach them, to nuture them, and to just enjoy being with them every moment I can. I have so many questions about homeschooling, like what curriculum is best, and how to motivate your children.  I look forward to meeting all of you and can't wait to share ideas

Hi Jenn,

Welcome to New Mexico! You have definitely found the right place, I have learned so much and gotten lots of encouragement from the members of the co-op. I also have a four year old daughter and I have a three year old daughter. We get together regularly with some other mamas with young homeschooled kiddos, if you would like to get together sometime, just let me know.

Welcome Jenn,
I also have 2 preschool children and have found great inspiration in this home school coop.  There are many families with kids of all ages, and their life experiences can help those of us who are new on the path.  As you will discover, Albuquerque is a very home school friendly city.
Hope to meet you at park day this summer.

Hi Jenn,

Welcome to New Mexico!  My family and I moved here from North Carolina 2 years ago and love it.  I have young kids also, 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son.  Hopefully we will see you at the park day this week.  Abq has a terrific homeschooling community and I have met some really terrific people.

Okay so I am really late with this post but so much has been happening lately. I wanted to say that I really really enjoyed meeting everyone I did at the park last month. You were all so helpfull and welcoming and helped ease some of the fears of homeschooling and provided some great information as well.  I haven't been able to attend a meeting since then but plan to try to come to one soon.  Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer!
