Quoted Text
Spencerian Penmanship was the handwriting course used in classrooms during the 19th century that has endured in the beautiful flowing birth and death records in our old family Bibles.
This penmanship course, originally published in 1874 and republished by Mott Media in 1985, contains the original theory book along with five copybooks.
The theory book contains instructions for form, strokes, spacing, and shading.
Each copybook provides samples and diagrams on practice pages that look like a combination of graph paper and accountant ledger book.
