Local Medicinal Weeds: Sat. April 28, 9:30 to 11am--CLASS FULL
Learn about medicinal weeds commonly found in parks, fields, yards, roadsides, and waste areas of the Albuquerque area. Discussions include wild habitat, cultivation, harvesting, preparation, dosage, herbal actions, and healing uses for each plant. Class costs $15 and is limited to 10.

Herbalism 1: Mondays May 7, 14, 21, June 4, 11, 18, 6 to 8pm--CLASS FULL
Make your own tinctures, salves, & teas. Visit an herbal medicine garden. Learn to use herbs for respiratory infections, digestive illness, ear infections, sore throats, auto-immunity, first aid, and skin treatments. Class cost is $150 for the 6- week series and is limited to 8.

Kitchen Cosmetics: Fri. June 1, 6 to 8pm--CLASS FULL
Learn how to make moisturizing skin cream and healing lip balm and take home samples of what you make in class. Class costs $25 and is limited to 10.

Native Plant Medicine: Wild Herbs of New Mexico: Thurs. June 21 and 28, 6 to 8pm--CLASS FULL
Learn about native New Mexico medicinal herbs in a 2 part series that combines classroom discussion and a wild herb walk on Sandia Crest. The series costs $45 and is limited to 10.

Pediatric Herbalism Intensive: Wed. June 20, 6 to 9pm
Learn how herbs can aid many of the common illnesses experienced by families. Topics include coughs, colds, fevers, sore throats, swollen tonsils, upset stomachs, earaches, allergies, eczema, fungal infections, and more. Class cost is $30.
