I am a homeschooler of a 5 year old and am really excited to officially begin our journey. I hope to attend a park day sometime soon and meet other homeschoolers. I was wondering if there are Park Days all over town or just at the Loma location? Also, is there a requirement for the number of days we must attend Park Day to remain members? Although I hope to attend often, it may be difficult to get up North every Thursday. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi, Laurel!

We have just switched to rotating parkdays. Tomorrow we will be at Sister Cities Park. For the month of August, we'll be at Lauren C Bolles Park.

Here is a link to the information on park day locations: http://www.abqhomeschool.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?m-1340932897/s-new/#num2

There is no minimum number of park days you must attend to retain your membership, however, you must post on the private boards on a regular basis to maintain access to those boards. Right now, you cannot see them because you aren't a member yet. Once you come to a park day, you can fill out step 3 of this form: http://www.abqhomeschool.com/join.html and one of the three co-op leaders will approve your membership and send you a welcome email with all the juicy details.

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Welcome, Carol!

I won't be able to go to the park today, but don't be afraid to introduce yourself to the group

Hey Dannie!
How do I know if I've been put on the co-op member area? I've been looking, but it doesn't seem to be any different yet. Also, I have a tiny envelope on my introduction thread. Does that mean anything. I appreciate your help on this if you are able. Hope you are doing well!

Have you filled out a request to join yet? Step 3 here: http://www.abqhomeschool.com/join.html

The envelope doesn't mean anything.
