Mother Road Theatre Company will debut it's new division for young audiences, ByWays, with 2 performances of Charles Way's lively play, "Pirates!" on Friday, November 9th at 10 am and 2 pm. The 90 minute show, recommended for students, ages 7 to 12 will play at the Filling Station in downtown Albuquerque, and Friday's performances are especially for student field trips. Tickets are $10 and reservations are required. Group rates of 10 or more are also available. Debut Season November 2012 The regional premiere of Pirates! by Charles Way Imaginary and reality collide when Jim,a young boy struggling to deal with his parentʼs divorce, is visited by a fearless female pirate at war with a stalwart naval captain. The boy is transported back to the 17th century to help solve the mystery of missing treasure, and along the way, learns some new things about himself that may lead the way to a peaceful reconciliation between the two captains.
