Good morning all,

We are returning to home schooling. I am both elated and saddened about the return. I'm elated because I LOVE home schooling! As you probably know, the benefits are incredible: spending more time with your child, getting to share more with your child, co-learning with your child, etc.

What saddens me is that my daughter is having issues with the health that have caused her to miss approximately 3 weeks from school this year. We had to make the decision about whether we should stay the course and continue with school OR home school her. In the end, she has decided she would prefer to be home schooled. Our greatest hurdles are Spanish and social activities. I am praying that joining this group will help us overcome at least the social hurdle--if not both hurdles.
