2013 Winter Semester Classes:

•     Managing Stress with Herbs:  Friday, January 25, 6pm to 8pm
Learn about the cascading effects of stress in our bodies and how to use herbs for the treatment of common symptoms of stress including muscle tension, headaches, difficulty sleeping, and more.  Students will prepare a relaxing herbal footbath for themselves at the end of class.  Class costs $25 plus tax and is limited to 10.

•     Herbalism II: Tuesdays, February 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, 6pm to 8pm
Make your own herbal syrup, infused honey, medicated soap, and liniment. Learn how to use herbs for stress, chronic pain, insomnia, mood imbalances, deep immune issues, thyroid problems, heart health, lymph flow, urinary infections, and women’s health. The series costs $125 plus tax and is limited to 8.

•     Herbalism Intensive: Saturday March 2, 12 noon to 3pm
Learn how herbs can aid many of the common illnesses experienced by families. Topics include coughs, colds, fevers, sore throats, swollen tonsils, upset stomachs, earaches, allergies, eczema, fungal infections, and more.  Class cost is $30.

•     Kitchen Cosmetics I: Skin Cream & Lip Balm: Saturday, March 23, 10am to 12 noon
Learn how to make moisturizing skin cream and healing lip balm and take home samples of what you make in class. Class costs $25 plus tax and is limited to 10.
