Hi!  My name is Chrissy.  After a year and a half in our local public school, we have decided to homeschool our little girl, currently 6 years old.  Her little brother is 4 and he goes to a co-operative preschool 3 mornings a week.  We want our children to thrive with their education and socialization and homeschool seems the right forum for that.  I'm excited to get to spend more time with my family that I work so hard to provide for and to meet up with other amazing families to finally have some meaningful socialization as opposed for the every "man" for himself style that was prevalent in her last school experience.

Welcome!

We live in the East mountains and do not get to a lot of the meet up activities...esp in the winter....but there is always lots of support on this forum and really great parents to meet and share with.
