I'm new to homeschooling but didn't have much of a choice.  My daughter ended up getting sick every day that she went to school.  In the end, she missed more than 2 months worth of school by the end of the year.  I just want to join to see if there are more opportunities that what I can give her here at home.

Welcome to homeschooling!  I think that Albuquerque is a great place to homeschool - there are so many resources!  And our community includes wonderful people who are so knowledgeable about, well, everything!  If you want to come meet up with us at the park on Thursday, please do!  We meet at Loma del Norte.  Peoplpe usually get there between 1:00 and 1:15 or so.  This week, we are trying to pull together a Valentine's party, so if you want to come, have your daughter create a bag or container to receive Valentines, and the bring Valentines to share (maybe 30 or so?).  We hope to meet you there!
