Copied from co-op email:
Hi, I have been a homeschooler for 13 years. A few years ago I created 12 American History Unit Studies for grades 3-6. We used them at my Coop and then the local homeschool store bought and sold them. Lately, I put all 12 on one disc and have been offering them to homeschoolers for $12 plus 2.95 shipping. If you think anyone in your coop would be interested in this, you could give them the information. If you need more info or an attachment with some samples let me know. This is not big business, just a homeschool mom trying to help others.
Now you can get 12 American History/ Literature Unit Studies on one easy to use cd. Your 3rd-5th grader can use these unit studies as a complete year of History study. You can print out as many copies of each unit as you will need for your family or your class.
Each Unit Contains a Three to Five Page, Historically Accurate, Fictional Story about the subject matter. These stories are where the student finds most of the information needed to complete the unit, although dictionary and Encyclopedia's will be needed.
Each unit has 15 days worth of activities and a daily journal question.
The Units on the cd are:
The Mayflower, Columbus, Pochohantas, Squanto, Daniel Boone, Sacajewa, The Chisholm Trail, The Oregon Trail, Oklahoma Land Run, The Alamo, The Statue of Liberty, and The Titanic.
