Hello everyone,

We are new to Albuquerque and would like to begin homeschooling our six year old. He was previously in a montessori, and is now attending public school. We are not pleased with what public shcool has to offer and have now decided to try homeschooling. We would love any information on how to get started!

Hi Schell, I have lots of "intro to homeschooling" type books if you want to look at any. Let me know if you plan to come to any of our activities and I'll try to bring them for you to look at.

Actually, this is not from me (Schell)... :-/ I'm not quite sure what happened!  Although, my six year old daughter and I are relatively new to the area too and look forward to getting involved in a group.  If anyone knows of a playgroup (or the like) in the Rio Rancho area, I'd be grateful with any responses.  Thanks so much!

Wow, that's really weird. Jessica posted the first message, but it said it was from Schell. Hmmm... I guess that means there are some bugs in the message board software. That's never happened before that I know of -- I hope it doesn't again... Anyway, hi to Jessica AND Schell, and your two six year olds!
