hello to the homeschool community,
my name is dara and i am not only new to homeschooling, but i am also a relatively new mother.  my son jonas is 1 year and two months and we live in the neighborhood of rio grande and indian school.  i thought it would be nice to introduce myself and see what sort of involvement would be appropriate for us at this early stage.  we definately plan on homeschooling but don't know much else at this point.  also if there are any other moms out there with toddlers, you are welcome to join our play group which meets fridays at 1:30 in various locations all over town, depending on the week. send me an email if interested.
hope to meet some of you in the future.

Hi Dara! Welcome to the co-op. As the weather gets warmer, we'll be meeting more at parks, zoo, aquarium, etc. Jonas would probably like that, and there are plenty of babies in the group, some older and some younger than your son. Hope to see you soon!

Hi, Dara. I'm Bobbie. My son, Tyler, is 2 1/2, and we're already pretty certain we're going to homeschool. I just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. I haven't done too much with the group, but during my little involvement, everyone has been very friendly and helpful, and they plan different fun and interesting activities.
