I am new to the group howdy people.
I have a daughter (4th grade) and will be home schooling soon. Please help where can I find a curriculum and books and material?
Thanks!

Title Wave bookstore on Menaul and Pennsylvania has tons of homeschool material and used to be owned by a homeschooling mother of 6. There's also the Tijeras Foundation off of Tramway, they both have lots of stuff.

Welcome and good luck.

I really like the Learning is Fun store on Menaul next door to Mor Furniture.  You can also order curriculum online from several places.  Try doing a search for it online and see if anything comes up that interests you.  You might find that it works better for you to just put together your own curriculum using the stores people have suggested here.  Hope that helps....  :-)

I also have a daughter in the fourth grade.  I have homeschooled her for quite some time.  In fact she has never been enrolled in a public school.  I also have a boy in the 1st grade.  I hope you plan on going to some events.  I would love to chit chat with you and may be our two girls would get a long.  In fact if you want to call me, my number is 867-4012.
I live in the Rio Rancho area.

You can also check out some of our web site's resource pages, particularly the local stores (http://www.abqhomeschool.com/stores.html), and catalogs and sites (http://www.abqhomeschool.com/catalogs.html).

These are recommendations collected over time from our message board

Good luck!
