The Rio Grande Nature Center offers the following classes:
Babes in the Bosque  $10 members, $13 non-members  Designed for babies and toddlers six months to three years, this stroller -friendly program will use a variety of sensory experiences to introduce young ones to the natural world.

Sense of Wonder  $10 members, 13 non-members  Join your 3-5 year old on an outdoor, hands-on adventure of sensory exploration and discovery in the bosque

Wetland Wonders  Find creatures that call the wetlands home and explore the plants they use.  Week-long classes for ages 6-12  Cost $40/session members, $45 non-members

Brown-bag class for ages 6-12  5-8pm  Cost $12 members, $15 non-member

They also offer other week-long classes for ages 6-12 on Birds, Mammals, Insects, Exploring Nature, Bats, and Owls  and Friday Evening Sessions for ages 6-12 on Birds, Coyotes, Insects, Hummingbirds, Porcupines, Bats, Owls and Roadrunners.

The Rio Grande Nature Center will also teach a lesson from their traveling trunks to homeschoolers on site at the RGNC. These classes are 45 mintues to an hour.    Call Rebecca or Jessica at 344-7240 to set up a class for children of all ages on;
Birds, Mammals, Anthropods, Reptiles and Amphibians, Bats, and Plants
For older children there are also classes on;
Bosque, Cottonwoods, and Geology of Albuquerque
