Hello everyone. I'm Alison, and this is my first year hs my 7yr. old daughter.
We live in Placitas...aka "the boonies".
I'm looking forward to getting to know, and learn from, everyone here. Both on the boards, and irl.

Thanks, got the email, and I appreciate the info.
We got into homeschooling for two reasons. First was visitation with her Dad. Because of his schedule, he can only see her on Sun/Mon/Tues. When she and I lived up in Santa Fe, it wasn't a problem. But when we moved here, it was either homeschool, or never see her Dad, and the second option just wouldn't do. Second was the fact that the kid is just so dang smart public school wasn't working for her. It was holding her back from her full potential.

I'm so sorry! As the wedding got closer, everything just went crazy. But it's over, and life is getting back to as normal as it gets around here. We're still really looking forward to meeting you guys.

No need for that stuff. haha I knew you had a wedding coming up and have also been working on the house. We'll see you ladies soon and are looking forward to it.
