This is a 25 volume set, very color and graphic intensive, they go from the years 1450-1976.  Volume #2 lost its spine and backboard but still readable.  They include information on newsworthy events including weather and major historical events of each year.  They are broken down by groups of years until 1969 and then each volume is a year on it's own.  Very interesting reads, even discusses political conventions, etc.!  They have been sitting in my garage until we moved so they are dusty and well-loved.  On the internet bookstores I have found them ranging from $100-200 and I would ask $50 or best offer.  Please email me or call and you can come by to see them.  --Tabbi mtandg@yahoo.com 792-4110 Thanks!

I am replying to my own message because frankly after moving I am just plain ole tired of moving junk around!  So anyway I am changing the price of these things to $25 and I am going to attempt to move them onward!  I am going to have a garage sale this weekend?  If it is nice weather but I will let you all know and things are going to be either free or really cheap I just am tired of trips to goodwill and stacking things in the garage I want them gone sooner!  --Tabbi

You have probably gotten rid of the encyclopedia of American History but by any slim chance, do you still have them?

I am sorry I ended up donating them as I am on the 12-step depackratting plan and I got sick of looking at them sitting there not being used!  Sorry try looking at Goodwills in town although it has been so long that they are probably already gone.

PPCorella, sometimes they have kids encyclopedia sets for sale at the library's Children's Book Sale in August at the main library. Usually they go for 50-cents per volume. I got a good, though slightly dated, science enyc. set that way.
