AVAILABLE ANYTIME, by appointment, are free nutrition consultations by Craig Klein, M.S., C.N.S. at the Albuquerque Vitamin Cottage.  Craig is a nutritionist specializing in diet-related conditions, wellness promotions, and disease prevention.  He offers advice and instruction on special diets, review of supplement programs for balance and adequacy, referrals to holistic practitioners in the community, and educational advice and materials on various nutrition topics.  To set up your appointment, call Vitamin Cottage at 292-7300 and ask for Craig or leave a message for him with one of their associates.  This is a superior community service they do for Albuquerque.  http://www.vitamincottage.com

AVAILABLE ANYTIME, by appointment, are very inexpensive studio portraits by JCPenneys.  I visited their website and printed off coupons for $3.99.  No sitting fee for the first person, no hidden BS.  I think this is an appropriate event because we so frequently forget to be family historians and it's important to capture as many portraits as possible of our families/kids.  If you know of other inexpensive studios with high quality and seasonal themes, please let me know.  :)  Just offering a tip, not advertising for them necessarily.
