[Feel free to pass this message along to any other homeschool groups in the area.]

El Rancho de las Golindrinas offer a Josefina tour for girls (see below).   If you would be interested in participating in this as a field trip, please respond to this message, or contact Barb at: CeltWsdm4@aol.com.   I'm trying to get an idea of how many would like to participate before scheduling with Rancho de las Golindrinas.  Thanks!

According to the flier I picked up:

"Step Back In Time At Las Golindrinas!"

"Introduce your American girl to Maria Josefina Montoya, a Hispanic girl of heart and hope, growing up on her family's rancho in New Mexico, similar to El Rancho de las Golindrinas in 1824."

"Special 1 1/2 hour tours include a guided walk through the historic buildings illustrated in the Josefina books, plus a 20-minute video.  Tours begin at 10:30 A.M. and are offered April thought October 2006.  Admission fees are $10/adult, $7/child."
