In summation, YOU MAKE your own Flat Stanley (see above); then, you send it to someone special, in this case a hot air balloon pilot, and he/she sends it back to you with information you requested and a photo.   Your Flat Stanley can travel all over the world and bring interesting artifacts back to you.    Consider using this as your first project for your Flat Stanley.

For the girls & ladies, you might prefer to send a female-version of Stanley, but ladies rarely like being seen as "flat."    (ha, ha, I made a funny!   :D  )   But if you prefer, go for it!   You might make sure she is dressed appropriately.   Then again, she might prefer to wear a bikini . . . it's none of my business, huh?!    ;D
