Hi everyone, here are some things I am or will be looking for over the next few months.

Extra Small and Small maternity clothes for summer
ceiling and room fans
An exercise bike, treadmill, or elliptical machine, preferably something small-ish
A bouncy seat for a baby with vibration feature
A Pack n' Play or other play yard with bassinet insert
A baby swing
boys' summer clothes in 4T
girls' summer clothes in 2T/24M

If anyone has or knows of any of this stuff for a good price or free, please let me know. Thanks!

Hey, we're frequently in the Four Hills area (that's where grandparents live) and have kids about the same ages.   Glad to meet you!

Thanks, I'm a member of Freecycle and I go on Craig's List sometimes, but I never seem to get in there in time when someone posts something I'm interested in. I've been wanting to check out  thrift shops but wasn't sure which ones were good, so I will definitely be reading that thread.

Hi Marie,

I am going to assume from your post that you are pregnant.  When are you due?  I am due in May and my babies usually grow out of their bouncy seats pretty fast.  If the timing works out you’re welcome to it when we’re done.  Also, if you get a chance, Other Mothers has what I consider great prices on Maternity clothes.  I’d offer you mine but I’m not a small/Xsmall.

I have not had much luck with freecycle either.  I too seem to always miss the good stuff.

Good luck!

I'm due around October 1, so if you're done with your bouncy seat by then I'd love to work something out with you.

It's really hard to find small maternity clothes. With my first pregnancy it wasn't a problem, but the clothes seem to keep getting bigger and bigger. I borrowed some from another skinny friend with my last pregnancy, but she's using them now.  :P So I think finding used small clothes is my best bet. I definitely need to take a day and try out some thrift and retail shops.

I've got a few girl things for free for you if you are interested.  Barett thrift on Lomas near Carlisle is my favorite.  I also must tell you how good the prices at Other Mothers is!  They have small maternity clothes for cheap.  What size shoe is your girl?

I can drop them near you or to you on one of my weekly trips to town.
