This Thursday, at Hastings on Juan Tabo & Lomas, 6:30pm-8:30pm.

This is our 2nd one, and the 1st one was a blast! Homeschoolers took over the tables whilst the moms took over the couches by the fireplace. They came, checked out games and looked around to see who wasn't occupied in a game.  Most of the kids were older elementary to high schoolers, so we picked up a few more games like Pictionary. The laser game from the Smithsonian was a big hit with the guys, while a whole table of midhigh girls took apart pieces from Mancala and Pente and made their own game & rules (must be homeschoolers).

Free, by the coffee shop in Hastings, and there's a open mic if your kiddo is a ham.  Acoustic instruments are welcome, as are joke tellins, poetry reading, etc.

I'm sorry to say I won't be there myself this time (science fair), but we packed the house last time, so I doubt there'll be a lack of people.  It's on every 1st and 3rd THURSDAY EVE, 6:30-8:30, and it's always FREE.

Happy Homeschooling!

This sounds really fun. We love playing games and miss ours.  We just moved here and only brought one boardgame with us. :(
