Hi,

I thought other local homeschoolers might be
interested in coming out and showing some support for
our son Jackson, who will be starting for Sandia Prep
club lacrosse team tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 4pm
against Bosque School, a varsity lacrosse team.

Jackson is a homeschooler and does not attend Sandia
Prep
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandia_Preparatory_School
but was invited to join the lacrosse team and is very
excited to be playing one of his favorite sports right
here in Albuquerque! And he is the only 11 year old on
the team. He's really that good!

So, please come out and watch him play! Lacrosse is
the oldest sport in North America with a long
fascinating Native American history, so come check it
out!

The game will be held at Bosque School
http://www.bosqueschool.org/
at 4000 Learning Rd in Albuquerque, on the West Side.

Thank you Carol!
I appreciate your positive support and will relay it to Jackson tomorrow.

It was a very exciting game today!! What really added to the uniqueness and excitement was that this is the very first time that
Sandia Prep has ever had a lacrosse team. With organizer Michael Mooney (one of my husband's UNM lacrosse players) and my husband,
John (currently the head lacrosse coach for Sandia Prep Lacrosse) Sandia Prep can now compete against the other 4 ABQ area lacrosse teams!!

It was such an important event that the media came and interviewed the players and video taped the game today. KRQE Ch 13 showcased the story on the evening news tonight (Wed), but tomorrow night it will be on CH 4! Check it out! Jackson was even shown for a brief second. I'm going to post about it on my blog later, with pictures, too.

Jackson did really well, even playing among high school age kids 12-17 yrs old. He was the youngest player on the team!
I am so so so very proud of him!!!
