My name is Bethany and we are new to the area and new to HSing. Our son Nate is 4.5 and our daughter Reileigh is 21 months old. We moved to Rio Rancho in Sept. 07.

Hi all,

We just moved here three weeks ago and are staying at least temporarily in Rio Rancho.  I have three kidlets - dd (11), ds (5), and ds (almost 2).  The best part about R.R. is the fun we've been having in the backyard.  Nothing like mudpies and excavations  ;D.  We had fun the other day digging the Amazon river and it's tributaries.  The tributary part didn't work out very well, but the Amazon river was perfect.  I would have never dreamed of doing this in our backyard in Virginia.  Hope you enjoy Rio Rancho as much as we are and maybe we'll see you at parkday.

We've thoroughly enjoyed the time we've been here and are looking forward to settling down.  We're still house hunting and trying to find a place big enough for three kids and a couple of chickens.  In the meantime, we're having fun at park day and exploring.  Thanks for the welcome,
