My mom just finished her doula training. In order to get licensed and certified she has to attend three births, one of which can be (but doesn't have to be) a cesarean. The others can be in a hospital or at home. She is actually having a hard time finding anyone that wants a doula at all, so she'd really appreciate any referrals. Another Doula-how cool! I have been a doula for nearly 10 years. I too remember the days of trying to get clients for training. If your mom ever has any questions or needs any resources-I would be happy to help!  ;D
