Hello. I am looking for some of the titles in the Before Five in A Row curriculum. I have the manual and a few of the books but am looking for the others. I am planning on using this starting in the fall with my 3.5 year old. The library does have all of the titles but I am a book lover at heart and would like to have them on hand.
Yellow Ball-Molly Bang
The Little Rabbit-Judy Dunn
Ask Mr. Bear-Marjorie Flack
The Big Green Pocketbook-Candice Ransom
The ABC Bunny-Wanda Gag
If Jesus Came to My House-Joan Gale Thomas
The Carrot Seed-Ruth Krauss
The Quiet Way Home-Bonny Becker
Play With Me-Marie Hall Ets
Prayer for a Child-Rachel Field
Angus Lost-Marjorie Flack
My Blue Boat-Chris Demarest
Thanks a bunch,

Robyn do you know that the library is having a sale on the 14th of June? I have no idea if they will have any of the books you're looking for but it may be worth a try. I've never been to one of these sales but I'm hoping to give this one a try.

Thanks Lyndi and Karen.
Lyndi, I have been to the book sales at the library. I have gotten several books for myself but I always get there later in the afternoon and by then the kids books are pretty much picked over. However, last year there was a sale in July with only children's books but I was out of town. They are suppose to be doing it again this year (July again) but I am still trying to get the exact date from the Friends for the Library.

The children's book sale at the library every summer is absolutely wonderful, lots of great buys. I recommend it highly to anyone who hasn't been!

Just a FYI. I received an email from the friends of the library and they are NOT having a childrens book sale this summer. She didn't say why but said they would be adding to the children's sections at their regular sales and to their store at the library. It's a bummer but maybe next summer!

Thanks Robyn, that is a pity.
