Albuquerque Homeschool Forum / Swap meet / Free Brand New Math Workbooks

I have a large number (perhaps 30 each) of first and second grade "Everyday Math" workbooks in unused condition. They need a good home otherwise they will just end up in the recycle bin! I also have a set of Spanish Math textbooks, teachers ed., worksheet masters etc etc that look to be about 5th grade level. Lastly I have a teacher's set of Houghton Mifflin Reading books and overhead transparencies. I am located near Taos. Can anybody help? reply to Eva at pilaryachtdlub@wildblue.net

Instead of recycling them you might see if there is a local food pantry or place for families in stress. They are always in need of books and activity materials for the kids. In Albuquerque you can take things like the workbooks to the Storehouse on Broadway and they will let each child pick one when their family comes in for their food box.
Just a thought... :)

Or you could sell them to Title Wave books on Eubank... maybe they would take them?
