Hi all.

I am new to ABQ, we're currently looking for a house and getting settled.   :)  I have three kids, dd Willow  (4), ds Abe (7), and dd Soleil (9).

My husband is working at a new charter school here, and we are planning on hs'ing my two dd's and *trying* school for my son.  We moved most recently from rural CO (four corners area) but are originally from socal.  (a variety of areas there).  We have have hs'ed off and on since the beginning and were kinda eclectic.  

anyway, we are planning on moving to the N. Valley most likely.  Just wanted to introduce myself.  We'll probably try to attend apark day this next week.

My name is Joice and I live in Bosque Farms (20 minutes south of Albuquerque) and I am homeschooling my daughter this year.  Her name is Bella and she is 9; I thought maybe our girls could meet and find some common ground.  This will be her first year homeschooling and I think she is a little nervous about making new friends.  Which park day do you usually attend?  I have yet to try one.

We are almost always at the Th park date on the east side.  We plan to be there this week.  :)  

My littlegirl is slowly making friends and I'm sure would love to meet another girl her age.  Hope to see you then!  

SHe also partcipates (along with some other HS'ers here...) in the Pokemon "club" (not sure what's it called officially) at the CHerry Hills library on Tues at 1.  She will probably be there too this week if all goes as planned.
