Biblical Based General Music Classes for Home Schoolers ages 5-14.  The Music Classes will be offered September 9th-December 13th, 2008 and January 13th-May 2nd, 2009.

Albuquerque Location:  Rio Grande Presbyterian Church, 600 Coors Blvd. NW, Albuquerque (1 mile South of I-40).  Day and Time:  Tuesdays, 1:00-3:00pm.  Class size limited to 30 students.

Rio Rancho Location:  Rio Rancho United Methodist Church, 1625 Abrazo Road, Rio Rancho.  Day and Time:  Thursdays from 1:00-3:00pm.  Class size limited to 30 students.

To register for the Music Classes, call 867-7974 or email Lbeas@cableone.net with your name, phone number, address, city, zip, names and ages of children, and which location (Albuquerque or Rio Rancho) you will attend.  You will receive a brochure with detailed information and registration form. REGISTER BY AUGUST 22nd.  You can register for both Fall and Spring; for Fall only or for Spring only.  Register early.  Class Size is limited to 30 students.

Monthly Fee:  $20.00/first child; $10.00/second child; $5.00/other siblings.

At both locations, the children will learn music theory using Scripture, Hymns, Praise Songs, and Children’s Sunday School Songs.  Other activities:  Christmas Program; Spring Program; Rhythm instruments; KidsPlay Bells; Boomwhackers and Choirchimes; crafts (props and set for the programs); musical games, music worksheets and snacks.  T-shirts for the children are in the works and will be available at a low cost.

Parent involvement is encouraged for assistance and supervision during the Musical Game, Snack, and Craft times.  Parents are asked to supply a snack and drink for their child every week.  There is no homework or extra work for the children or parents.  The set and props will be completed by the children during the craft time.

ATTENTION PARENTS AND CHILDREN!! COME MEET THE DIRECTOR AND PARTICIPATE IN A SAMPLE MUSIC CLASS:  Tuesday, July 29th, 1:00-3:00pm, Rio Grande Presbyterian Church, 600 Coors Blvd. NW, Albuquerque (1 mile south of I-40).   Singing, Music Theory, Crafts, Instruments, and Musical Games.  Bring a Snack and Drink.
