Hello to everyone,

We are just getting started for this school year.  I have a nine year old son and we started homeschooling last year.  He and I did great.  I am attending ITT night classes and my husband works full time.  We are trying to find other homeschoolers to network with.  My son misses his friends.  He is not into sports so meeting other children his age is hard.  I just signed up to be a part of your group.  The forum and discussion boards have tons of great information.  I hope to attend the park day tomorrow.  Am I supposed to do anything other than show up?  Perhaps I will meet many of you there.

Hi there.  I have a almost 9 year old who would love to get together.  We can't make that park day but we will be at pokemon.  If your son likes pokemon that would be something fun for him.  We are just going back.  It was way too busy this summer for my kids.  But they are excited to start again.

littlejohnclan:  My son and our are planning on going to the pokeman meeting tomorrow too.  He actually has a friend that he knows there and we didn't even know until today.  This would be our first time.  Maybe we will see you there.

I have a 9yr old daughter and she also attends the Pokemon League on Tuesdays.  We'll be starting the Thursday park days soon as well

Hey Pokemoms!  The Pokemon thing is at the Cherry Hills Library on Tuesdays from 1-2.  Kids should bring a starteer deck. More details on the calander and in homeschool chat.  The NE parks day is on Thursday, and I think the west side is on Tuesay.  If you need to know where the Cherry Hills Library is, dial 311.  I look forward to seeing you there.  I have a twelve-year-old and a nine-year-old.
