Albuquerque Homeschool Forum  /  Swap meet  /  FREE :-) Compost for chicken coop
Posted by: KarenArnold, September 11, 2008, 7:11am
We cleaned out our chicken coop and have much much more compost than we can use for our meager back yard and garden, it is all bagged up in big black garbage bags, this is great for starting up a garden or composting your existing garden.  Please let us know if you would like some, we will haul it out to the sidewalk for you to pick up, we are in the SE south of the fairgrounds

Thanks,
Karen

Karen, does chicken "stuff" digest better than horse stuff?  We used horse manure in our garden this summer and got a TON of alfalfa that we did NOT want.

Per our conversation at today's parkday - I'll can handle all your &%*$ AND future *^&$.   I've forwarded your telephone to my husband Dave (you met him at MNI) and he'll call and let you know when he'll be dropping by with his truck.  I know that you want it out of there, so it WILL BE no later than this weekend.  THANKS so much for offering - now I'll need to put you on the barter board.    Hmmm, what does one barter for chicken poo?
